Alicia's Wedding

My awesome neighbor Jamie, referred me to Alicia, one of her best friends', and I was lucky to be chosen as her floral designer! I loved the blue and green color scheme she chose...but most of all I loved the look of her all-white traditional bouquet! The dahilas, roses, hydrangea, and mini callas looked amazing together! The greatest part was getting to see my neighbor all dressed up in her bridesmaids dress for the wedding, and later hearing how well the wedding went and that everyone loved the flowers! Yeah, mission accomplished, Happy Bride!!

Kristen's Wedding

This weekend the heat was on in Minnesota, but luckily Kristen's wedding wasn't ruined at all, and all were kept cool indoors at both venues. I loved the choices she made for her bridal bouquet, Vendela Roses, White Hydrangea, White Mini Callas, Mini Green Cymbidium Orchids, Stephanotis, and White Hypericum Berries. Her bridal party and the rest of the reception was splashed with bright color...my favorites, pink, yellow, and orange! I also had a blast decorating the cake, it was the first time I got to make a cascade of flowers on a cake, and I love how it turned out!

Britt's Wedding

This weekend I had the absolute honor to design flowers for my eye doctor! It always makes me a bit more nervous when I design for family or friends because after the wedding is over, I will see them again, and I feel like even more that I cannot mess this up! Britt chose my all-time favorite flowers...orchids...so I was on cloud 9 when I came home to start getting all of her flowers together. As you will see, my camera did not do these flowers justice, but I hope you all can get a glimpse of how this amazing wedding turned out! Thank you again Britt for letting me be part of your special day!

Yovanna's Wedding

I got to head to the "east" side for today's wedding...Summit Avenue in St. Paul and the Science Museum. Since spring almost never came this year, I was still able to get peonies for one last wedding...yeah! I loved how it looked with the calla lillies and freesia! I also thought it was fun that she wanted some bear grass looped around the edges. The centerpieces had a bunch of pieces to pull together, and most of the glassware was rented, but when it was put together, it looked great. My only regret is that I didn't take a picture of the whole room at the Science Museum, I couldn't believe how well the space transforms from a cafeteria space into a wedding venue, it was awesome!
