Kristin's Wedding

Fall is in the air for both of my wedding designs this weekend! This is one of the maids bouquets from Kristin's wedding. It was a beautiful mix of Black Magic roses, Leonidas roses, Leucadendron, Mokara orchids, and Hypericum berries.

Samantha's Wedding

Even though it doesn't feel like fall yet in Minnesota...the colors of flowers are starting to take on more of a "fall" theme as we enter September. The combination of red roses and orange roses along with hypericum berries and orange mini callas always looks amazing! I love the touch of Lucadendrom and Kangaroo Paws though too! My favorite part was the light touches of curly willow tips that I added to the bridal bouquet just before I delivered it. A beautiful day for a beautiful bride! Congrats Samantha!

Julie's Wedding

My sweet old co-workers sister got married today, Julie! It is so fun working with the Nelson's and getting to play a small part in one of their most special of days! Julie picked fun pinks for her flowers, and used all my favorites, roses, freesia, cymbidium orchids, and lizzy! Congratulations Julie, I pray your day was amazing and I thank you for choosing me to be your florist!

Gina's Wedding

Pink is still popular this year as you can see, and I got to do another "pretty in pink" design this weekend! Roses, Orchids, and Mini Callas, all very classic and stunning, made up Gina's beautiful wedding today at Hazeltine Golf Course in Chaska. My gratitude goes out to my dear friend Rachel for referring me to Gina...her cousin. Congrats Gina, you looked beautiful!

Melissa's Wedding

Melissa's wedding flowers were all soft petal pink...it was gorgeous! I only got to design her bridal bouquet, which consisted of 40 pink mini callas...and I wish had put more in, and then I got to place tons of soft pink stargazer lilies on all of the tables...on the boat. Melissa had an awesome reception on a boat on Lake Minnetonka! Melissa was a stunning bride and I was honored to be part of her special day!

Stephanie's Wedding

I had the honor to design flowers for the sister of one of my brides' from a few years ago today! I so love getting to see the families again, and I feel like there is no better compliment that a person can give you, then to use you again. It was again super hot today, and I was praying hard that her flowers would hold up! I love all flowers and colors, but the soft purples and whites that Stephanie chose was so pretty! I can't wait to see some professional shots of this wedding, even though I didn't design too much for this wedding, it's still fun to see all the fun that was had on their special day!

Alicia's Wedding

My awesome neighbor Jamie, referred me to Alicia, one of her best friends', and I was lucky to be chosen as her floral designer! I loved the blue and green color scheme she chose...but most of all I loved the look of her all-white traditional bouquet! The dahilas, roses, hydrangea, and mini callas looked amazing together! The greatest part was getting to see my neighbor all dressed up in her bridesmaids dress for the wedding, and later hearing how well the wedding went and that everyone loved the flowers! Yeah, mission accomplished, Happy Bride!!

Kristen's Wedding

This weekend the heat was on in Minnesota, but luckily Kristen's wedding wasn't ruined at all, and all were kept cool indoors at both venues. I loved the choices she made for her bridal bouquet, Vendela Roses, White Hydrangea, White Mini Callas, Mini Green Cymbidium Orchids, Stephanotis, and White Hypericum Berries. Her bridal party and the rest of the reception was splashed with bright color...my favorites, pink, yellow, and orange! I also had a blast decorating the cake, it was the first time I got to make a cascade of flowers on a cake, and I love how it turned out!

Britt's Wedding

This weekend I had the absolute honor to design flowers for my eye doctor! It always makes me a bit more nervous when I design for family or friends because after the wedding is over, I will see them again, and I feel like even more that I cannot mess this up! Britt chose my all-time favorite flowers...orchids...so I was on cloud 9 when I came home to start getting all of her flowers together. As you will see, my camera did not do these flowers justice, but I hope you all can get a glimpse of how this amazing wedding turned out! Thank you again Britt for letting me be part of your special day!

Yovanna's Wedding

I got to head to the "east" side for today's wedding...Summit Avenue in St. Paul and the Science Museum. Since spring almost never came this year, I was still able to get peonies for one last wedding...yeah! I loved how it looked with the calla lillies and freesia! I also thought it was fun that she wanted some bear grass looped around the edges. The centerpieces had a bunch of pieces to pull together, and most of the glassware was rented, but when it was put together, it looked great. My only regret is that I didn't take a picture of the whole room at the Science Museum, I couldn't believe how well the space transforms from a cafeteria space into a wedding venue, it was awesome!

Karin's Wedding

June has been a super rainy month here in MN and today was no exception. Last week while at the Calhoun Beach Club, it poured as I was setting up. Today, it poured again while I was setting up at the park for Karin's reception. I only pray that it stopped for a bit so she could have her ceremony out at the Arboretum. I love the soft pinks matched with light blue of this wedding. Out at Lake Ann Park where the reception was held, it was neat to see all the details that the couple added in to make it personal...they rented a bouncer for the kids, and set up a bunch of lawn games...I think this wedding would have been lots of fun!
